چکیده

Fungal pathogens are liable for a wide part of damages in agriculture economy. In the present research a survey was made to study occurrence of Sclerotinia species the causal agent of stem rot in Cauliflower, through agar disc method and dual culture bioassays. The number of apothecia reduced with decrease in temperature and relative humidity. Infection is dependent on long periods of leaf wetness provided by high humidity and high soil moisture and the optimal temperatures are between 15 and 18°C. Thus, control of the disease was targeted by studying the optimal conditions of infection taking Streptomyces with antagonistic properties as biocontrol agent.

Dynamics of habitat changes as a result of climate change in Zagros Mountains Range (Iran), a case study on Amphibians

Climate change is currently considered a serious threat for many species and recognized as one of the most important factors in the global biodiversity loss. Among animal groups, amphibians are known to be among the most sensitive groups of vertebrates to climate change due to their inability to travel long distances, and mountain habitat species are more exposed to climate change pressures tha...

Effect of Irrigation Systems on the Contamination of Aspergillus flavus and Aflatoxin Production in Shahpasand Pistachio Cultivar

Aflatoxins are secondary metabolites produced by Aspergillus flavus, A. parasiticus, A. tamari, A. bombycis and A. nomius species. Relative humidity (RH) is one of the most important parameters influencing the development of aflatoxins in pistachio orchards by Aspergillus species. The type of irrigation system affects density and frequency of the Aspergillus species in the soil. In the current ...

How will species respond to climate change? Examining the effects of temperature and population density on an herbivorous insect.

An important challenge facing ecologists is to understand how climate change may affect species performance and species interactions. However, predicting how changes in abiotic variables associated with climate change may affect species performance also depends on the biotic context, which can mediate species responses to climatic change. We conducted a 3-yr field experiment to determine how th...

Predicting the geographical distribution of Alopecurus textilis Boiss rangeland species on basis Consensus approach of climate change in Mazandaran province

The climate changes have an important role in distribution of plant species. Statistical species distribution models (SDMs) are widely used to predict the changes in species distribution under climate change scenarios. In the peresent study, the distribution of Alopecurus textilis in the current and future climate condition (2050) under the influence of climate change and two scenarios of RCP 4...
